General and Advanced Worksite Traffic Management Refresher

An opportunity for Field Supervisors to stay abreast of current information and legislative requirements.  Evidence of previous training is required e.g. certificate / ticket.

Familiarisation of all personnel on traffic management procedures

Road user characteristics, traffic flow characteristics & work related factors  

Safety of workers, drivers and other people on-site

  Public relations

Assignment of traffic management tasks

Liabilities under relevant legislations/regulations

Planning considerations

Prevailing conditions

Planning of complex traffic management schemes

Planning considerations (more diverse and in depth)

Selection of scheme from AS 1742.3 and Field Guides

Theories behind the principles of traffic management

Modifying more involved layouts

Combining more involved layouts

A prerequisite of this course is the Control Construction Traffic or Control Traffic with a Stop-Slow Bat qualification.

There is a $60.00 cancellation fee if A.E.S. is not notified 24 hours prior to the course commencing alternatively the participant may be replaced by a substitute.  Register by completing the registration form below and faxing to A.E.S. on 62720004.  Please note A.E.S. does not send out confirmation of registration.  You will only hear from A.E.S. if the course is full or has been cancelled.
