Work Safely in the Construction Industry

CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry is the unit of competency which has been developed to meet the requirements of the National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work.  This training is accepted Australia wide and is a life long qualification which will not require renewal.

 

Duration: 6 hours

 

Who should enroll: People working in or intending to work in the construction industry.

 

On completion of this course, participants will understand:

  • Legislation requirements and responsibilities (Employer and Employee)

  • Basic concepts of workplace health and safety plans and work method statements.

  • Physical building and construction hazards

  • Basic risk management concepts including hazard identification, assessment of risk control of risk and evaluation of control measures

  • The OHS hierarchy of controls

  •  Emergency procedures including evacuation procedures and first aid response requirements

Cost : $135.00 per person - GST does not apply to this nationally accredited course
